Santo Ippolito wins award as Best Wine Overall 2019

Four days focused on the theme of returning to the simplicity of ancestral flavours, tied to our memory, and the celebration of sensory experience. The event, in its succession of activities, presentations, artistic performances and tastings, was a journey of discovery into the consistency, balance and integrity of wine, concepts that form the cornerstones of Luca Maroni’s tasting method. A method that also underlies the evaluations used for the realisation of the 2019 yearbook of Italy’s finest wines. The wines of Villa da Vinci, all well represented within the yearbook, were praised for their organoleptic characteristics, enhanced by the viticultural vocation of the splendid nature of Vinci. In particular our Santo Ippolito 2016 won the award as best wine overall 2019 with a score of 99/100. A result that makes us proud and spurs us to pursue the objective we set for ourselves from the beginning: produce wines that Leonardo would be proud of.
