Mundus Vini Awards Cantine Leonardo da Vinci

Mundus Vini premia Cantine Leonardo da Vinci

The wines from Cantine Leonardo da Vinci have won prestigious awards at the latest edition of the Mundus Vini competition.

Four medals plus the accolade “Best of Show Chianti” for Leonardo da Vinci Chianti Riserva (2015): this is the haul won by wines from Cantine Leonardo da Vinci during the summer edition of the Mundus Vini competition.

Gold Medal was awarded to Leonardo da Vinci – Chianti Riserva (2015) and Da Vinci I Capolavori – Vergine delle Rocce – Chianti Riserva (2015), while Silver Medal was awarded to Leonardo da Vinci Chianti (2016) and Leonardo da Vinci Vermentino (2018).

Mundus Vini was founded by Meininger Verlag fifteen years ago and is today one of the world’s most important wine competitions. An international panel of qualified judges comprising oenologists, viticulturists, specialist retailers, sommeliers and industry journalists tastes the wines blind and judges them according to the international evaluation method of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV), recognised also by the International Union of Oenologists (UIOE).

The award represents for Cantine Leonardo da Vinci a confirmation of its work and a valuable opportunity for comparison at international level.
