Geniale: the new wine format

Leonardo Geniale, in the two formats white and red, was presented on the occasion of the 2019 edition of Milano Wine Week with a special event at Gesto – Fai il tuo, a venue on the Navigli inspired by a sustainable philosophy – attentive, precisely as its name suggests, to every small gesture to respect the environment: from the use of recycled paper for menus to the choice of certified suppliers (Friends of the sea for fish and Circle C for meat), from bioclimatic measures for heating and cooling the premises to second-hand furnishings.

The ‘Geniale’ evening united wine with music and sociality, inviting the public to participate with the claim: Do a Geniale Gesture! All seasoned with the colourful imagery recalling the aesthetics of Warhol’s pop art, a choice also made for the labels of the Geniale Bianco and Rosso bottles, the merchandising and the project graphics.

So what does it mean to do a Geniale Gesture? For us at Cantine Leonardo da Vinci, it also means producing quality wine in an intelligent and convenient format for daily consumption. And doing it based on the teachings and insights of the greatest Genius of all time, Leonardo da Vinci, who continues to amaze us even today.
